People & Operations Assistant

Do you have experience in customer service or dispatching/scheduling? Or previous office / administrative experience?

Then, we’d like to talk with you.

Mustang Disaster CleanUp is looking for a full-time People & Operations Assistant to help keep our team running smoothly while delivering an outstanding experience for our customers.

This is not just a desk job. You’ll be in the office, but also work closely with the field team—helping coordinate jobs, solve problems, and keep everything on track. This role can be exciting, challenging, and rewarding.

What You’ll Do

• Answer phones with a positive, professional attitude
• Help customers during stressful situations
• Schedule jobs and manage calendars
• Keep job details and systems organized
• Communicate with team members and field staff
• Track progress and help keep jobs on schedule

What We’re Looking For

• Friendly, upbeat personality (most important)
• Strong communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Familiarity with basic computer systems and office software
• Confidence to speak up and hold others accountable (nicely) when needed
• Reliable and takes ownership

We are a full-service cleaning and restoration company serving South Dakota and Central Iowa. Offices in Rapid City, Sioux Falls, Pierre, SD and Story City, IA.

Much of our work involves disaster cleanup, helping people recover from:

• Fire or smoke damage
• Water / flood damage
• Mold and biohazard situations

We also provide services like commercial cleaning, carpet cleaning, duct cleaning, and more.

Requirement

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to pass a background check
• High School Diploma or GED

Pay

This is a new position, wage / salary is negotiable depending on experience.
